The road that leads from the main gate to Sibani Lodge and to Sibani Glamping, is a gravel road of no more than 4km. We would not recommend that you drive a sports vehicle, but other vehicles will reach us easily – being careful to settle on a driving speed that suits their vehicle and that does not exceed 30km/h (Reserve rules).

Sibani requires a 50% deposit payment immediately after an accommodation booking is made. An accommodation booking cannot be confirmed and secured without a deposit payment received in Sibani’s bank account. The remaining 50% for accommodation may be settled on site at Sibani. Day visitors are required to make 100% pre-payment to confirm and secure their activity bookings. Guests are advised to familiarise themselves with Sibani’s cancellation policy upon booking.

Sibani is situated in the Mount Savannah Game Reserve in the Cradle of Humankind. We need to adhere to the reserve’s rules, which prohibits guests from self-drive and hiking within the game reserve. There is a 2.5km hiking route available to our in-house guests.

Day visitors may use the facilities at the main lodge within a certain set time and only with prior arrangement. Day Visitors are prohibited from bringing along their own food and beverages.

Please visit the “Meals” tab on our website.

Cottages and Safari Living Units have small refrigerators. Safari Glamping does not have refrigerators, but ice is sold at Sibani for chilling purposes.

Sibani accommodation does not have in-room televisions. There is a large television at the main lodge which may be enjoyed by all in-house guests. There is wifi available at the main lodge accommodation and at the communal boma at the Glamping site.

None of Sibani’s accommodation options offer private pools, but all in-house guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool at the main lodge. The Standard, Superior and Luxury Cottages have in-room fireplaces.

Sibani does not have a restaurant, but we serve set meals to guests who book in advance. Day visitors are welcome to join in-house guests for a set meal, but this has to be arranged with Sibani in advance and cannot be cancelled within 48 hours prior to the date of the meal.

Sibani Lodge does not have a function hall, however, we can host smaller private functions. This would be possible if guests reserve the luxury tent boma together with all the accommodation tents or they reserve the main lodge, together with all the accommodation at the main lodge. The luxury tent boma or main lodge cannot be reserved for a function without booking the accommodation in the designated area as well.

Sibani often offers special deals, but we do not have Honeymoon or Anniversary packages per sé. Please view our special deals on the “Offers’’ tab on our website.
