The Glamping Tents at Cradlestone Camp offer a relaxed escape from everyday noise and routine, set within the open plains of the Mount Savannah Game Reserve. Surrounded by nature, this tranquil setting invites guests to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy quality time together — whether as a couple or a family.
Designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, the glamping experience is both self-catering and family friendly, making it ideal for guests who enjoy flexibility and shared outdoor living in a safe, natural environment.
Each Glamping Tent is powered by a solar electrical supply, providing ambient lighting and the ability to charge cell phones and laptops. Please note that high-consumption electrical appliances such as hair dryers and televisions are not supported. Guests also have access to shared Wi-Fi.
The tents feature hotel-standard beds dressed in crisp white percale linen. Furnishings include bedside tables, a dressing table, and a comfortable couch, creating a welcoming space to relax after a day outdoors.
Every Glamping Tent has its own en-suite bathroom with natural finishes of canvas, reed, and slate tile flooring. Bathrooms include a toilet, basin, and a warm-water shower.
For added indulgence, each tent boasts a private outdoor wood-fired hot tub — perfect for unwinding while taking in the surrounding bushveld.
Guests can enjoy a fully self-catering experience, with access to a communal outdoor kitchenette and braai area, located within easy walking distance of all Glamping Tents. This shared space is ideal for preparing meals and enjoying relaxed, open-air dining with family or friends.
The Glamping Tent room rate includes breakfast served at Sibani Restaurant at the Main Lodge, located 3.7 km from Cradlestone Camp. Guests are welcome to drive themselves between Cradlestone Camp and the Main Lodge during the restaurant’s operating hours.
